The owners of this facility, Fabian and Patrick, have renovated/decorated an old country house to serve people walking the Chemin St. Jacques Cele Valley variant route, and it is perfectly located on the path. They are extremely helpful and Fabian makes amazing communal dinners and breakfasts with delicious homemade jams, breads, etc. Their best room includes a kitchen, nice TV with recliner, and even a 2-person jacuzzi, which helps to ease aches and pains after a long hike to reach them. Also fixed homemade picnic lunches to carry on hikes.

We were really happy with our choice of Au gré du Lot! Excellent location, between Rocamadour and Figeac, with plenty of picturesque places to visit in the area and the hosts gave us valuable recommendations, from restaurants and broquantes to villages ranked among The Most Beautiful Villages of France. The place exudes elegance and peace of mind. We had the Deluxe suite - the room and bathroom are spacious and tastefully decorated. Although our room faced the street, we slept excellently. As we had very hot days, we opened the windows at night (thanks for the advice, Christophe) and it was very pleasant. It was a pleasure to start each day with a breakfast in the garden, and Tethys and Gaia kept us discreetly company in the evenings spent on the terrace. But the stay would not have been complete without the relaxing moment offered by André and his magical hands. Thank you, Christophe, André, Gaia, and Tethys! We hope to see you again. Mona and Harry

Exceptional dining in charming surroundings. Several generations of the same family have run this well established hotel. Such a good location : within easy reach of nearby Cahors ( wine, shops, historic buildings) and interesting trips both East or West along the river valleys. The scenery is stunning! The pretty village of Vers is itself worth exploration. The entire staff team are friendly and welcoming. There is an outdoor pool and a lovely terrace - so a summer visit here would be fun. Also a spa - all these facilities are available for guests - we have yet to enjoy them!
