One of the holes on the golf course goes past, but this is in no way obtrusive. Our room (Cuba) was wonderfully themed and decorated - really unique. They have really taken the time to create a beautiful place and it's all the more touching to read about an accidental fire years ago which meant they had to start all over again. Breakfast was lovely. Yes, as some other reviews have mentioned it was a little strange being delivered to outside your door, but we actually enjoyed this. It meant we could enjoy a private, quiet breakfast together on what felt like our own little front garden. Some other nice touches, like some welcome wine on arrival and your own parking space. Realistically you need to have your own car to stay here. We did several trips to and from Arcachon and Gujan-Mestras, which was very straightforward.

The glazed bathroom opens on the gentle and welcoming bedroom. It’s my favourite hotel. Swimming pool area was beyond lovely.All beautifully landscaped. Plenty of sunbeds and sunshades. The room was scrupulously clean. Huge bed and very comfortable. Bikes were provided free of charge. Everything you could want for a break was there.
