Its out of the way, its safe for kids, there are nature walks right next to where you're staying. The place was spotless, furniture was comfy and very inviting. The old addage of you dont holiday to stay in your hotel is applicable but where you are tired and in need of just a couch day, this place absolutely fits the bill. Privacy was good, you have neighbours but you're not watching their tv and listening to their music by proximity. Lots of animals doing the rounds also, we saw white rabbits bouncing around the snow and reindeer on the nature trails. The host was very obliging and despite my ludicrously early check in request still managed to cater for me and the two kids on very short notice. The host was also very obliging in offering us additional resources where we needed them and also on very short notice. Its also off the beaten track yet close to the airport. A very well balanced combination.

It's so nice and cosy and comfortable you want to spend your holidays just in the cabin. Besides the nice and well fornitured interior you have the closeby river for walks and play on the snow or make a fire at night.

So, it is a great location. We tried two trails around, one goes at high altitude and heavy, but worth the view! + Showers and yurts are warm despite -18 outside

Located within Santa Claus Village, Glass Resort is set in Rovaniemi. All apartments comes with floor-to-ceiling windows, sauna and a private outdoor hot tub. 房间很大，住起来舒服多了，并且含两餐（早餐、晚餐），早餐一般，比nova好一点，晚餐最好吃，是在芬兰这4天吃过最好吃的白人饭了。所以临走的一晚，我们又吃了一遍，自己花钱吃，要150偶左右两位。另外亮点是房间边上有独立的Hot Spring，可以泡个澡，蛮舒服的，再会房间蒸一个桑拿，比nova设计的合理多了。还有酒店就在圣诞老人村里面，打卡圣诞老人村非常方便，步行即可。但圣诞老人村没啥东西，唯一就是跟圣诞老人寒暄几句，再拍个照。 要特别感谢酒店小哥Leevi，因为我自己无人机大晚上玩脱了，挂在树上了，小哥帮我爬树弄下来了，另外也感谢酒店的酒店反应速度，真的非常非常感谢🙏

Located on the private island of Vartiosaari in Rovaniemi, Aino Private Island Hotel is an adults-only boutique retreat offering a quiet and highly personal stay just 10 minutes from central Rovaniemi... The setting was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous snow and scenery. Very quite area. The rooms were stunning, had everything we needed. Very friendly, homely feeling. Its a family run hotel, the lady who was working the days we were staying was so friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to chat to our kids about there days trips and what plans they had when she would meet them outside. Taxis are about 30euro from the hotel to Santa Claus Village & City Centre.

The sauna cabin and hot tub add to the amazing experience. Our children also had a great time using the winter equipment provided. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the place was spotless. Highly recommended for a perfect getaway!
