The cabin was comfy, we only wished there were hooks for coats/scarfs. The panoramic window is love. Breakfast is a good value. We will be back.

Some rooms are located upstairs, accessible by stairs. All rooms have a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, WiFi, kettle and hairdryer. Some rooms have a private sauna. Excellent hotel! The view was amazing from both room and restaurant. Restaurant Aanaar is top quality restaurant and the breakfast is absolutely fantastic. I would recommend the hotel at any time of year.

The facilities were very modern and beautiful.

Kätkä Lake Lodge is truly a magical place! We really enjoyed our stay here and honestly, the lodge was our favorite stay during our week long trip to Finland. Firstly, Mikko, the owner is a fantastic host. Always there to answer our questions and really appreciated his help/comments regarding road conditions before we got there. Second, if you are looking for a place that provides peace and tranquility, the lodge is it. We really enjoyed snowshoeing on the trail across the way, it made me so happy! The kitchen appliances and kitchenette were of top quality. Basic ingredients like salt, sugar, coffee, tea, and sugar were provided . The Washroom had soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The whole house smelled awesome. Breakfast was good and in abundance. We were provided early entry and late check out from the owners. We are thankful. Every room is equipped with a balcony. It is a charming city away from Rovaniemi, it was a bit of scary ride of 2h30min over snow and icy roads. But getting there, we love everything about the place, our room was perfect, the pictures are as true as the experience. We had our private sauna and jacuzzi which we spoiled ourselves everyday. Breakfast and dinner was nice at the receptiom. The place is near to all attraction ski and the middle of nowhere views. We will be returning as we are in love with everything here! We even saw the northern lights from our room.
