Set in Millinge, 26 km from Carl Nielsen's Childhood Home, Falsled Kro offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. We travelled to Denmark, and made a trip in two parts. The first part was an exploration of Funen, with Falsled Kro as our basis. But Falsled Kro was a jewel to discover by itself. We can say a lot, or we can say nothing and rest in wonder. This is a magical place, with lovely and very helpful people, who immediately made you feel at home. And the cuisine, morning or evening, was above expectations. 11/10, and we'll be back someday :).

Overlooking the Great Belt strait, Nyborg Strand is a beachfront property just 2 km from Nyborg’s Old Town. Odense city centre is within 30 minutes' drive. The on-site spa offers a sauna, hot tubs and a rain shower area. A cold water basin, relax lounge and foot baths are also featured. Everything went well. We were satisfied with our rooms. We had dinner at the bistro which was superb! The waterfront location of this hotel is amazing for relaxed walks with our dog. Breakfast was solid but there could have been a wider variety.

Stay active on the hotel's tennis court or have a swim in the pool. Treat yourself to a relaxing massage or jacuzzi. Take time out for a sauna or steam bath before sampling the gourmet food in Hesselet's own restaurant. The view from the room, reception and diningroom was fantastic ! All fine quality furniture throughout . Good breakfast with lots of choice.

Some are located in the property’s annex and offer views of the harbour. Location was fabulous. We asked to change to a room with a view and were moved to one without problem. The breakfast was great - wide variety of pastries, cereals, cold and hot foods and crispy bacon!
