Up at 1000 feet in elevation it never felt to hot. The monkeys, birds and frog sounds were amazing. They hired a guide for me to go hiking in the Tayrona national park ,which was beautiful, with a much needed swim once we got to a safe beach. Highly recommend Tawaca if you just want to relax and take in the peace of the mountains.
