We had a fantastic stay at Kawa Hotel in Salento. We really loved the surprising complimentary upgrade to a suite with breathtaking views of the valley. The staff was exceptionally kind and attentive, making our experience truly wonderful. The hotel offers many activities, we especially enjoyed the horseback riding and the hike in Cocora Valley. The free forest bath tour was also a highlight. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, teaching us about Pachamama and local biodiversity. We even had the opportunity to plant a young palm tree, Colombia’s national tree, which was a memorable experience. Morning yoga with view is a must. Overall, we loved our stay. Highly recommende

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ecohotel Alma We can look back on a fantastic time in the beautiful “Alma Resort” with its beautifully landscaped garden and a wonderful family who gave us a warm welcome and made our stay a wonderful experience. -Very friendly and attentive staff -we had a spacious 2-bed room with a fan (there are different rooms) -The beds are very comfortable - we slept so well -We really liked the bathroom w/outdoor shower -the location is very quiet (despite the nearby street) -very good breakfast, great coffee, everything fresh (partly. from own garden or surrounding area) -Simple menu for dinner – but very tasty (preferably fish in aluminum foil ;-) -located in a lovely, safe area in the countryside -There are also other restaurants nearby (take a taxi) -a very fair price-performance ratio -Wifi worked perfectly -We even managed to reach Alma by public bus and taxi for the last mile** **We are grateful that we found EcoHotel Alma. They also helped us to organise a visit at Finca Don Leo (organic coffee farm) and at nearby botanical garden with a Columbian's biggest palm collection and a papiliorama (butterfly house). The property is immaculately clean, rooms spacious, the pool and spa wonderful, the grounds are kept beautifully. The staff were amazing (especially Kym :) ) no request was too hard . The food and drinks great, cant really fault this place and if Im ever back to Pereira, will be sure to stay here again.
