Breakfast is on the roof top with a beautiful view over the mountains. They offer traditional noodle soup for breakfast (very tasty) but also toast, steamed buns and sweet potato. Coffee and tea are also available. The owners took a lot of time to explain the best routes in the national park to us.

The host Anthony is English speaking and very welcoming, he helped us to book tickets and recommended suitable routes through the park and took the time to chat with us every night over a beer or two and telling us about Zhangjiajie. The Rooms are large and newly decorated, everything from Beds to Bathrooms are brand new. There are several restaurants along the road in short walking distance. I can't think of a better place to stay if you want to visit Wulingyuan. Great Value. Highly recommended.

The accommodation offers a hot tub. We were very well received by the couple who run the hotel. They picked us up and took us to the airport and to the station to Tiamen. They changed our room to a larger one, washed our clothes on the last day, and helped us with all our tours and itineraries, always serving us very patiently and at no additional cost. The breakfast was very well prepared, with fruits, toast and eggs and Chinese noodles. Our room was very comfortable, spacious, with very good towels and bedding, the air conditioning worked perfectly and the shower was great with plenty of water. The room also had a hair dryer and all the necessary amenities, including insect repellent. We highly recommend this hotel, especially because treatment like this family is impossible to have in a hotel chain. Rating 10 out of 10.

We had an incredible stay! The staff were so friendly and helpful, using a translator device to communicate perfectly. One staff member even helped us buy tickets for Zhangjiajie and Tianmen Mountain and gave us a map that was absolute gold. Thanks to him, our trip was smooth and unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Embraced by the greenery, No.5 Valley Inn is 2 km from the west gate (Yangjiajie ticket booth) of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Free shuttle between the property and the west gate is provided and it takes 5 minutes' car journey per run. The property covers 10,000 square metres and owns 40 guest rooms scattered in 5 buildings. Each room features different room themes and mountain or garden views.

Every guest room comes with air conditioning and is fitted with an electric kettle and a dining area with dining table. The private bathroom has shower facilities, free toiletries and hairdryer. The food was amazing, all home cooked and sourced locally. The location is incredible; views through the valley are beautiful. The outdoor heated pool looked out over this incredible view. Our room was spacious comfortable and felt very luxurious with a balcony overlooking the mountain. Finally, the best aspect of our stay was the staff, everyone we met was kind, helpful and spoke great English, in particular Frankie, who went out of his way to help us organise our trips to the national park and even dropped us of and picked us up each day (even when we were hours late!) . We cannot recommend this place enough and are very much looking forward to going back again soon.

My stay at Guan Yun Shan Ju was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Tucked away in the serene mountains, this lodge truly lives up to its name "Cloud-Gazing." Waking up to a sea of clouds right outside our window was nothing short of magical. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a tasteful blend of modern comfort and traditional charm. The wooden beams and soft lighting created a very cozy atmosphere. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional; they were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was another highlight! We enjoyed delicious, locally-sourced meals that were both fresh and flavorful. Sitting on the terrace, sipping tea, and watching the clouds roll by was the perfect way to unwind. It's an ideal retreat for anyone looking to disconnect from the city's hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be returning.
