Hyatt Regency Metropolitan Chongqing is connected to Metropolitan Plaza Shopping Mall. It is a 15-minute drive from the train station and a 30-minute drive from Jiangbei Airport. The location was superb. It was just a little way away from Jiefangbei with numerous malls and shops in walking distance, but since the hotel entrance was just a little off to the side away from the very crowded places, it was still quiet and cars could go drop and pick up at the lobby area with ease. Facilities was great- the gym was large and well-equipped. There was a sauna, steamroom and indoor pool. The design of the room was very modern and large as well. I particularly liked the small round table where we can have a meal. Also convenient access to charging ports on both sides of the bed.

Later, when we lost an item in a Didi, they immediately contacted the driver and arranged its return, sparing us significant trouble and expecting nothing in return.

The facility is nice. We had the loft that can host up to 4 people. The bath room is modern and clean. The king size bed is super comfy. The best part is you can make the room so dark for a nap.

Location, facilities, hospitality and comfort and spaciousness of the room. I would especially like to thank Jason and Sophie at the front desk who are very professional and courteous in taking care of guest’s needs.

From spotless rooms, to amazing breakfast and a very convenient location at a walking distance from the city center. Staff try their best to communicate, even though some of them do not speak very good English. Overall, it was the best choice I could do for my stay in Chongqing. At the end of my stay, I left some stuff that I received as gifts from the conference that I attended. They sent me an e-mail if I needed them shipped to my home country. As a solo traveler who doesn’t speak much Chinese, I was originally worried about not having good breakfast in Chongqing — but YANG TRAVEL Hotel completely put my mind at ease. The breakfast options are simple: Chongqing-style porridge with pickles, fried dough sticks, boiled eggs, and that incredibly delicious triangular cake (Sanjiaoba, a traditional Chongqing snack). The portions are surprisingly large, yet the staff smiled and gestured to tell me, “You can have more if you want!” One morning, I was in a hurry to join a tour group, and the front desk guy even packed my favorite Sanjiaoba and a cup of hot soy milk into a paper bag for me to take away — no extra charge at all. This small thoughtful gesture made me feel overwhelming kindness in a foreign land.
