The venue is really beautiful with its own garden that idyllic and has many tropical fruit trees. The room was of decent size, very clean and comfortable with own balcony overlooking the garden. Plenty of common area space to relax with water available everywhere. We also appreciated the "Honesty Bar" where we could get any drinks or snacks on our own and just write down what we took that was billed at the check-out, including the Nespresso coffee. All the staff were very nice and welcoming, we also got the tour and some history of this hotel that was the very first accommodation many summers back. Many guests previously mentioned dogs on the streets and roosters in the morning, they did not bother us at all... after all, this is how the island is! The dogs are everywhere on Rapa Nui, not only on the street of the hotel and they are very friendly and relaxed. The roosters are more or less the same. The communication before the arrival was very useful with good advice and suggestions. The tours we booked with the hotel in advance also were great and had good value. Overall we definitely would recommend this hotel to stay at. The farewell gifts also found nice place in our home.
