Appeared fairly new and extremely well kept. Restful and beautiful. Property owner lives on the first floor. We didn’t stay long enough as I wish we had.

In a quiet location in Wals, 5 km of the historic centre of Salzburg, the family-run Hotel Himmelreich features a sauna and a garden with a swimming pool. The breakfast was quite nice. The breakfast items were constantly being refreshed and it had a wide variety to choose from.. The staff was very nice and helpful with questions I might have had. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Hotel.

This 5-star superior hotel enjoys a unique location on top of the Mönchsberg, a hill in the centre of Salzburg. Everything in the hotel is amazing and wonderful stuff, planning to visit again in future.

The room was comfortable and clean. The view of the city was incredible and using the pool in the summer is a great option. Breakfast and service were excellent.

Hotel Doktorwirt enjoys a quiet location in the southeastern part of Salzburg, only a few minutes away by car or bus from the centre. Parking is available free of charge. The place is absolutely gorgeous, and it's located outside the city center so you have a nice calm atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms are fantastic.
