Xavier and Patricia are amazing, gracious hosts, they made sure we had everything we needed, recommended and booked our activities. We loved the tranquility of the bush setting and being able to see animals on our walks and in front of our room. Everything was amazing, our safari guide, Francis and the team. It was perfect, it felt so personalised and we felt incredibly well looking after. We had a couple of drives at neighbouring reserves and whilst they might have a few more animals on the drives; from the conversations we had with people staying at these resorts the hospitality we had was unmatched. The beauty of staying here is you have the option to do additional drives at Kruger or neighbouring reserves but this is the most incredible base and the drives are much more intimate and informative. Ghert (might have butchered the spelling) was nothing short of exceptional during and outside of the game drives. I’m fortunate with work to stay at some very nice locations across the globe but this experience tops the list.

I liked the fact that it is inside a reserve with animals (not the big 5 though) walking around freely. The facilities and personalized service was also very good.
