Right after booking, the team reached out with a detailed list of tours and attractions and even helped us arrange an outstanding Ha Long Bay tour. Throughout our stay, the staff remembered our names, anticipated our travel plans, and offered consistently attentive support. We stayed at Meritel Hotel in June 2024, and it served as a base point for our adventures in the Northern Vietnam. The location is very advantageous, all the principal tourist attractions are within walking distance. Despite the pretty active street life, the rooms were really quiet. The breakfast is respectable, there are options for both local cuisine enthusiasts and more traditional people. We can confidently say that Meritel stands out among many hotels worldwide due to its customer service. It is simply exceptional, from the lobby staff to the management. Daisy, if you read this, we love you! You are the best manager we have ever met. Thank you for all your help and assistance. All in all, Meritel is undeniably one of the best picks for Hanoi visitors.

Stop looking, this hotel ticks all the boxes! What did we have a wonderful stay in this hotel. The location in Old Quarter is just perfect, with everything you need or want to see within walking distance. We (2 adults and a baby) asked the hotel if a baby crib could be provided. The hotel mentioned our booked room was too small for a baby crib and they would upgrade us to a bigger room so the baby crib would not get in the way. Great service! Our baby loves bananas. The staff was so generous with bananas and cookies, they gave him a couple every time they saw him. They were also really playful with him. He loved every minute of it! It was my wife’s birthday during our stay and I asked the hotel if they could arrange some decorations and such. Wow, was I surprised. The hotel arranged a birthday cake, wine, flowers and decorations. And when I asked afterwards what I needed to repay them, they mentioned it was all free of charge. Never did we receive this level of service. We would definitely book this hotel again when we arrive in Hanoi again. 10/10 would recommend this hotel, based on the location, service, price and rooms in general.

My husband and I booked the Oriental Jade Hotel for our honeymoon and first ever visit to Hanoi. We weren't entirely sure of where a good location would be and also what the level of hotels were like there. Suffice to say, the Oriental Jade Hotel exceeded our expectations and was a big part of us having an amazing experience in Hanoi! Our room was so comfortable with a great view, the location of the hotel is fantastic - so close to the lake and to both the Old and French Quarter and the breakfast was brilliant! We will miss those avocado juices for breakfast every morning now. In addition to this, we booked a private tour through the hotel and we couldn't have made a better choice with that either. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, professional and showed us an amazing time to Ninh Binh, even giving us options to adjust the tour to our preferences on the day! All in all, a wonderful stay and we couldn't have asked for more.
