We stayed at Cat Ba Wistaria for a few nights and honestly loved the whole vibe. It’s got all the modern stuff you’d hope for — a sleek room, solid Wi-Fi, rooftop jacuzzi, and even a small gym that actually works — but still feels really connected to the local side of Cat Ba. As a couple from Saigon, we’re a bit picky about comfort, but this place totally delivered. Super clean, comfy bed, and friendly staff who gave us real local tips instead of touristy ones. They pointed us to this tiny family-run spot down an alley for the best Canh Ca Thu we’ve ever had — absolute gem. The location couldn’t be better: walkable to the beach, night food street, and all the little shops. There’s not much dining inside the hotel, but with everything nearby, it’s not a big deal. Feels modern but still has that Cat Ba charm.

It was an amazing experience The staff is lovely. The owner, Hai, is just a sweetheart and one of the guys there, Keo, was such a pleasure to be around. Great breakfast and coffee. The highlight was their golden retriever, Gung. The hut was got was beyond our expectation. Honestly, everything was great . The location was not in the heart of the centre, it's not really walkable, if that is something that bothers you. But it was so peaceful you didn't want to leave. We rented a bike from Hai, he gave us a great price, and everything was super accessible from there.

The atmosphere provided by the english speaking owner was very pleasant and friendly and the food was really delicious. Very nice stay at cheerful & peacefull place. Possible to rent a scooters and help with booking a transport. We feel really relaxed after a few days at Linh’s family place - with cheerful parents and lovely kids. We do recommend this place!

We stayed at Hotel Flamingo for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely amazing! As soon as we arrived, they surprised us with some special treats for our honeymoon, and we were greeted with drinks, which made us feel so welcomed right away. The breakfast here is incredible—so many options and everything was super tasty. The pool is gorgeous, and the whole hotel is spotless, which we really appreciated. We also booked a cruise and kayaking through the hotel, and it was so well-organized. Everything ran smoothly, and the experience was just beautiful. What really made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Everyone was so nice, but CHIEN deserves a huge shoutout. He was so friendly, always ready to help (even without us asking), and made sure we had everything we needed. He really went above and beyond for us, and we’re so grateful for him! We’ll definitely stay here again if we come back and would recommend this place to anyone. It’s been such a special and memorable experience!

Excellent experience! Everything was the best in every aspect. Excellent staff as well! The staff was wonderful, always polite and attentive. The Rooms, pool, and restaurant were all excellent. Kids were so happy during the stay because they has swimming in swimming pool here and the newly opened sauna was also great. Also the food there is authentic! If I get the chance next year, I would like to go again. Strongly recommended!

This hotel was perfect, good location, friendliest staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, hot showers, breakfast was amazing, comfy beds, good A/C and the staff even decorated the room for us since it was our honeymoon. Would 100% recommend!

A fantastic place to stay on Cat Ba! The room was very clean and had a great balcony view. The location is quiet, and at night you can even hear the sea, which was lovely. The spa facility was a fantastic bonus. The sauna was perfectly hot and steamy, and the contrast with the icy cold plunge pool was incredibly invigorating. It was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The staff deserves a special mention. They were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. Their kindness truly made the stay feel special.
