My own trip to Cappadocia was extraordinary and certainly impacted by staying overnight in Harem. The property enjoys a unique location, in fact it is located just below the Uchisar Castle, the highest point in Cappadocia. In addition, the hotel has a large terrace from which you can watch both the sunrise and the sunset, with the hot air balloons passing right in front of you. The rooms are well done and very clean, with a refined furniture and in keeping with the style of Cappadocia. There are different types of rooms, including cave rooms dug right into the rock. We stayed in the room with the terrace and jacuzzi...spectacular! Also, the hotel has its own restaurant, which is very nice and produced delicious dishes. The staff is a fundamental part of this structure. He was always available to satisfy our requests, booking tours, experiences, restaurants, bars, etc. Among these I recommend the balloon ride, really stratospheric, the visit to the most famous ceramic and carpet manufacturers. I underline the kindness and friendliness of these people. I think that if I make a new trip to Cappadocia, I will consider Harem again with an excellent value for money.

Everything was amazing. The staff, the room, the food and the location. It did not feel like staying at a hotel, it felt like staying with family, that's how hospitable everyone was. The room was lovely and the shower was perfect! The location is very close to Uchisar castle. It was snowing when we visited so we didn't get to see any hot air balloons but that did not impact our stay at all as the views were still so beautiful. I will definitely come again soon. The breakfast is wonderful and they give you so much. I didn't get tired of eating the same breakfast everyday as there was a lot to choose from and it was so fresh. tarçın (the hotel dog) was an absolute sweetheart! Thank you for everything.

We had an amazing two-night stay at this hotel in Cappadocia. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everyone was incredibly kind, and they even upgraded us to a better room at no extra charge, which was a delightful surprise. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views of the unique landscape. We had a fantastic view of the hot air balloons drifting across the sky in the mornings, which was a truly magical sight to wake up to. The included breakfast was huge and delicious, with a great variety of options that set us up perfectly for the day. The jacuzzi in our room was a fantastic touch, adding to the overall relaxing experience. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality, this hotel is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to come back!

Personnel is always polite and eager to help, even if you try to play a difficult customer. We accepted their offer to be picked up from the airport for 80 euros, and paid another 80 to be taken back at the end of our trip. However, we learnt later that a taxi back to the airport will cost us only 25 dollars, and cancelled the back part of the transfer. I expected that they would refuse to return the money, or would say something like "we will deduct 50 per cent for the late cancellation", but they refunded our 80 euros with no problem. That was a pleasant surprise. If you order tours (Red and Green tours) through them, they will be 20-25 per cent more expensive than what you can find online. However, balloon rides. you can order through them, they offer a market price. We did so. The fortress and the Love Valley with all those fairy chimneys are at walkable distance. You can skip the Green tour, as you can basically walk from the hotel to nearly all the places they take you on that tour.

Location is great. 2-3 minutes walk from Uchisar center. Room size and facilities are good. You also get a good view of Hot Air Balloons flying in the morning. Hotel owner and staff treated us really well. All in all a pleasant experience.
