Stayed at the beachfront suite, on the 2nd floor, and it was the most beautiful view to wake up to every morning! The rooms were very cute and clean (there were occasionally little ants on the nightstand and tables but we weren't bothered by that at all). The staff were friendly and would often engage with us. Breakfast was delicious, with a good variety every morning. The beach (Kantiang Beach) itself was not crowded at all. We were allowed to use the resort's kayaks (came with the room) and rented scooters directly from them at a reasonable price. Overall, the location is definitely not central and is quieter, darker in the evenings, and generally more remote, which is what we preferred. It is only a 20-minute scooter ride to the more touristy parts of the island and we didn't mind that at all.

When we booked this it looked amazing, but then we also had some doubts in our mind as read bunch of reviews related to clogged toilets, fouls smell and expensive food etc. Overall we found this 10/10. Location - 12/10. It’s just too good. The beach is beautiful and very peaceful. Sunsets are amazing! Property - 10/10. Nicely designed and very well maintained. Villas - Beachfront villlas - 10/10 spacious lovely view nice pool and jacuzzi. Sea view villa - 9/10 - Found them a bit compact but they were value for money. Restaurant - 9/10 View and setting is amazing. Breakfast spread is limited and could do better with options. Food was pretty good, we mostly fried Thai items they were good and decently priced. Staff and Service - 10/10. Very cordial and attentive.

Great hotel. Spacious well kept rooms. Very clean and comfortable beds. Housekeeping did a great job surprising our child by staging a scene with his stuffed animals and a towel-art dog. Plenty of things surrounding the property which are easily accessed if you rent a motorbike or use a tuk-tuk that are available outside the property. Excellent pools. One shallow pool (approx 75cm) which is good for kids, one big infinity pool, a lap pool and one up on the hill (not really worth the climb if you’re not already up there). The breakfast has a good mix of continental and Thai options, and brings daily variety. Daily planned activities for kids are fun. A big shout out to the staff member (unfortunately don’t know his name) who took a lot of patience to teach our son - who doesn’t speak any English - the basics of Muay Thai. He’ll forever be our son’s hero.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Right around the corner from Nicha muay Thai gym and next to the beach. Able to rent a Scotter from the resort to get around the island too. Rooms were clean and comfy and the breakfast was good! Short walk to the shops and restaurants.
