We discovered Hotel Slatina during our road trip through Italy, Croatia, and Austria. The exterior might not catch your eye, but stepping inside reveals a delightful surprise. Everything is impeccably clean and modern, clearly benefiting from a recent facelift. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly, whether at reception or in the restaurant. Hotel Slatina continued to impress us. Their wellness area is stunning—though a bit compact, it didn't matter as we had it to ourselves. We enjoyed it even more than the famous Therme Olimia nearby. We were thrilled to learn they make their own pizza dough, and the pizza was absolutely delicious! We cherished every moment at Hotel Slatina and highly recommend it to everyone. It's a wonderful spot to unwind, and with their plans for further renovations and enhanced services, we can't wait to return.

Exceptional stay at Hotel Aleksander! Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff were amazing – incredibly professional, kind, and always helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent, right in the center of Rogaška Slatina but peacefully set on a small hill, surrounded by beautiful nature. It’s a great base for walking and biking, with plenty of scenic trails nearby. The hotel is part of a medical spa, which is small but very well-equipped, offering everything you need for a rejuvenating and health-focused stay. The pool has a counter-current system, ideal for both swimming and relaxation. A special mention goes to the physiotherapist, who was excellent – formerly with a professional sports team, he’s highly skilled in rehabilitation, recovery, and physical preparation for athletes. The massotherapist was also extremely professional and speaks English, Russian, and Italian, making the treatments easy to follow and very effective. Another unique aspect is that the owners are a family of doctors, who also own several clinics and have developed personalized longevity protocols that are applied within the spa – bringing a true medical and scientific approach to wellness.

The hospitality of the reception staff, especially the initiative and of Mr. Ante to drive from a distant place and unlock the hotel for me at 1 am outside the usual check-in time due to my arrival late at night. That willingness really made my day!! Thank you! Even though there were other guests in the hotel, I liked how I had an impression of the peaceful stay without meeting other people and having a chance to relax and rejuvenate.

Very friendly and professional reception staff. A proper luxury hotel. Beautifully decorated room. Large bathroom. Double sink. Bathrobes. Wonderful toiletries. Excellent swimming pool and spa. Decent breakfast, good choice. Lovely coffee bar just across the road from the hotel. Would definitely stay again, especially if there was a special offer. Highly recommended

Pomona is a hidden gem! The owner, Janko, is absolutely wonderful and passionate. The place is well managed and fantastic for spending there relaxed time. Everything is outstanding: the really good and tasty breakfast, delicious dinner, surroundings and atmosphere. The room is specious, simply decorated with comfy bed and large bathroom. I will definitely stay there next time travelling in Slowenia.
