The hotel is located in a small village. Location is great, quiet and surrounded with forest. Hotel itself is very clean and modern. It is part of one of the oldest thermal spa resorts in Slovenia. It's connected with pools with thermal water and Balnea fun park. It has modern, clean rooms with everything you need. Our room had massage tubs and very good Wi-Fi. There is plenty of sunlight since the whole balcony wall is a window. Panoramic passageway leading to Vitarium Spa & Beauty is very nice and it takes you directly from your hotel to Spa area with slides, jets and a proper swimming pool where you can actually swim. Staff is very tentative, nice and very helpful. Food is delicious 😋, They have huge variety of locally produced ingredients. For lunch and dinner you can choose from three options as a main course. The rest is self serving.

Hotel Kristal is interconnected with an underground passage that leads to the indoor pools.

We liked everything! The location is beautiful, the small cottage is quietly located on the vineyard, and when the sky is clear you can admire a beautiful starry sky at night. The terrace with a view of the vines invites you to relax, eat and drink wine :) (or anything else). There is a lot of privacy and there is a field-, and forest path in front of the door, perfect for our dog. The cottage is like the pictures, small, but has everything you need, including a dishwasher. It was also very clean. What impressed us most was the hospitality of the owners, who are very friendly and helpful. In principle I rarely give ten points but this accommodation really deserves it.

A great place to relax or have a small celebration. :) The hosts were very nice and provided us instructions on how to best arrive at the location, and were in general very responsive to our questions.

Great place, nice views. The only “flaw” is that the beds should all be normal, not water beds :) some of the girls had trouble sleeping. But everything else was great and view is amazing with morning coffee.

Truly a hidden gem! We regret staying here for just one night in transit to another country. It’s just a short drive from a few of Slovenia’s must-sees, but the place feels secluded and is so tranquil and peaceful in a small hamlet amidst the farms and the vineyards overlooking the valley. The cottage is characteristic and cosy, very comfortable, spacious and nicely decorated with all amenities you could wish for with a nice outside terrace and a lot of private space around. Right beneath the cottage is the wine cellar of the vineyard and upon arrival the owner gives an explanation about the wines with a small tasting in the cellar and then hands the key of the cellar and you can take any wine you like right from the wine barrel. Filling up your own bottle costs only 4 euro. The owner does not live on the property but is always available and super friendly. The covered hot tub between the vines is an amazing extra and so relaxing, even on a hot Summer evening when we were there. This place was the biggest surprise on our road trip through the Balkans and we highly recommend staying here.
