Absolutely central besides the train station, our room was big, they had the best gym (even with a power plate!) and it was the best breakfast we had on our entire Sweden trip with quite a few vegan options! And the bar in front of the hotel with the view over the square was also a gem.

It was absolutely great, the host was very friendly, and the room beautiful and comfortable. There's a community room and a kitchen as well as private bathrooms. Check-in is very simple at any time. The location is good as well, you can easily walk to the city center. Would have loved to stay longer!

Staying on the houseboat was wonderful. It actually looked better than in the photos. The harbourscapes are special. We also happened to catch sunny days in Sweden, which made everything feel even more peaceful and bright. The host was warm and very generous. The connection to the city worked well. You walk a bit through an industrial-looking part of Göteborg before reaching the tram that takes you over the water, into the heart of the city. That also felt like a nice nod to the city’s roots, shaped by trade and the harbour. I'd come back without hesitation.
