My partner and I were lucky to have the entire hotel and spa for ourselves before a big holiday weekend. The staff is so lovely and made us feel so welcome at at home. The spa was cozy with a sauna, hot jacuzzi and turkish bath, and the staff even filled the entire spa with candles for us. The outdoor pool was cold and perfect for cold dips in the rain (strongly recommend this!). After the spa we had a 3-course dinner with delicious homemade dishes and local wine. The restaurant is like a restaurant / living room with a little bar, pool table, fire place, sofas etc. The facilities were great, we really loved this. Our room was beautiful and with a balcony facing the greenery outside, and you could even hear the stream. To finish off our stay we got an amazing big breakfast, just for the two of us! We really got a 5* treatment here. Loved the location near to Lamego, and yet in a calm place on the countryside. Thank you so much, we will be back!
