Beautiful apartment and surroundings, with great view of both the ocean and the volcano. The host was very helpful and friendly, and we really appreciated the hand annotated map of the island she gifted us. Following her advice, we had a very nice stay on Pico visiting the places she suggested. The apartment is very modern and well equipped with all the appliances we could want during our stay.

The lady at the reception is kind and pleasant. The apartment is very comfortable, the place is lovely and quiet. We were with another couple and it was very pleasant to sit in the apartment and next to the apartment for a glass of wine and a light meal with Mount Piko standing in the background. The apartment is well equipped.

I cannot recommend this place enough . Pictures don’t do justice . The scenery is absolutely breathtaking ,there is an outdoor pool which is heated and also a jacuzzi , which can be used during the colder months . It was very clean , excellent amenities, the bed very comfortable and the staff very nice . Lana was very helpful and friendly.

Lovely place to stay...homely & peaceful, just the sounds of the birds & animals. I enjoyed the interactions with the animals, especially the donkeys & cat. Owner is very kind & gave me a lift to the ferry. Welcome basket, including some homemade jam. Rooms are light & airy with views to the sea (& São Jorge island on a clear day). The village & shops are just a short distance down the hill & there are swimming places nearby.

Facing the seafront in São João, Miradouro da Papalva Guest House - Pico - Azores features a garden and barbecue facilities. The property has sea and garden views.

This place doesn't feel like home, it's better! It will be my heaven on Earth. We were treated like Kings! It's an amazing place with two beautiful souls working there.
