everything was fabulous, out of town but an easy taxi ride in to visit the sites, then the tranquillity of the hotel was amazing. Enjoyed wine tasting, the pool, the spa, the food, would 100% recomend this hotel to anyone.

An amazing hotel set right outside the gate to the old city, breakfasts & dinner were excellent, staff so pleasant a very well run hotel. We on a month trip through Portugal & have found the vila gale hotels to be amazing. Our next stop in Vila Moura is to celebrate birthday & 52nd anniversary so pleased we chose Vila gale to do this celebration with.

Besides 2 outdoor pools, the Evora Hotel is surrounded by landscaped gardens and offers a heated indoor pool and health club on the edge of Évora, along the Av. Túlio Espanca.

Beautifully done up, clean, comfortable, cosy and peaceful. We had the suite and it was gorgeous. Good breakfast in the mornings. Lovely outdoor area with lots of sweet animals and a beautiful aviary with budgies and canaries!

And not a like or dislike, no-one tells you that the apartment is in the north corner of the square, with (currently) an empty block across the road from the kitchen window and from that window two views of the aqueduct. The downstairs entry is in the corner of the two buildings. (This information should help people arriving there.)

We loved every second of our short stay here. Friendly staff, fantastic room, great pool and hot tub and delicious food. The views are just fabulous. The horses here are exceptional, the equestrian facilities are amazing and all the staff are so knowledgeable and welcoming. I will come back to ride next year! I can’t wait!
