We had a lovely stay. The hotel was fantastic. Our room was really big with an exceptionally large and comfortable double bed.. The windows were large and opened which was lovely. They had great blackout curtains for when sleeping. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent and the Messa Fin restaurant served excellent lunches and dinners at very reasonable prices. The hotel bar is a nice, comfortable place for relaxing in. There are no coffee or tea making facilities in the room but you can request tea and coffee to be sent to the room and there is no additional charge for this service. The location was good. The train station was very close....about a 5 minute walk and the beach is located the other side of the train station. It's a lovely 15/20 walk into Cascais along the promenade.

From the first step inside Palácio Estoril, we felt we had slipped through a discreet portal into a retro, exquisitely curated world, part The Great Gatsby, part The Grand Budapest Hotel, a whisper of Europe’s 1930s aristocratic glamour, made intimate and alive. It is not the usual five-star routine with practiced smiles. The hotel moves as a single, living organism under the gracious orchestration of Mr. José Diogo, whose natural kindness seems to flow through every corridor and every member of staff. Nothing feels rehearsed; warmth here is unforced, precise, and deeply human. It is comfort made intelligent; every detail correct, from the water’s warmth to the fall of the drapery, down to the coffee at the perfect temperature. Nothing announces itself; everything simply works. Immaculate cleanliness is not merely visible; it is felt. The Palácio keeps a classic soul at a remarkably high standard, and pairs that soul with a quietly posh sensibility that never shouts. The hotel and its people act together, attentive without hovering, elegant without theater. We have stayed in well over a hundred five-star hotels; this is the finest experience we have ever had. It is the sort of place where a single visit becomes a tradition almost without your consent. You do not simply rest here, physically and spiritually; you become part of the ongoing story. My wife cried twice: first from happiness when we entered our room, and again from a gentle sadness before we left. That says more than any rating. We will return, and then return again, in the years to come.

I’m officially in love here, I’ll come much more often. Owner Carlos is a tremendously kind gentleman and excellent operator. Every detail has been thought out perfectly, they seem to have established this place not to make money, but to reflect their own business vision. Amazing staff, they will go the extra mile, we arrived at 1030 and got our room straight away. This property is extraordinary with the best gym I have seen in a hotel that category. Asian food restaurant was unique, the breakfast was fantastic. Great location for Sintra and Cascais. Very pet friendly, my dog loved his tipi. I sincerely recommend this quiet and beautiful place.

I really enjoyed my stay here it was perfect w=fro a relaxation break. everything taken care of all the staff were lovely to be around. The spa is wonderful and the rooftop- such incredible views!
