Fabulous location, beautiful huge comfortable room with divine linen powershower,comfort and pure luxury...little touches that mean everything when away from home, coffee, fresh milk in the fridge ,chocs on the pillow. The hosts Donna & Neville were great. Nothing too much for them made us very welcome. The room was clean and very modern. There is a microwave, toaster, and kettle, and you are supplied with some food items, milk, butter, jam, cereal, and snacks ect. Lovely view of the canal from the veranda. You are able to use some e-bikes if you want to, although we did not take up the offer. Would I go again? Yes, I would.

The Grays is a recently renovated homestay in Whangarei, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi.

Absolutely wonderful experience. David made us feel right at home and was incredibly kind. Also extremely versed in history so he taught us some great things to take with us as we continue to travel NZ. Definitely reccomend this wonderful accommodation :)

Exceptionally warm and personal welcome. Andrea our host was such a sweet and charming lady. We were immediately made to feel at home. The pool area is gorgeous and the view magnificent. The cottage itself is cosy and very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the crisp white bed linen, soft towels and there were also fluffy robes for guest use. Everything was immaculately clean.

So quaint, loved the paua shell touches on the door and tiles, and the artwork. Exceptionally clean. Lovely staff and great proximity to beach and shop.

A luxurious getaway in a fabulous location. Great amenities and every detail is well thought of. Lovely hosts who'd give you adequate privacy but always help in need. Great comfort and facilities. Lovely welcome from beautiful Vanessa, Paul helped on setting up outdoor fire pit. Fantastic beds, kitchen equipment, etc. Immaculate design in every little piece of the 3 bed home. Great pool and hot tub. Great walk around in the garden. Good breakfast comfy linen. Just all you need of comfort on a holiday, we would surely come back.

I loved the location and the lady was very nice I was running late for check in but she waited which I really appreciated also I had booked for x1 adult and x2 kids but it ended up being x2 adults and it was cheaper .
