Very warm welcome from the staff and the place was beautiful! Very clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The pool and view was stunning and we really enjoyed sitting and relaxing on the terrace

While being a fairly large resort island, somehow they’ve managed to create a very secluded ambiance. Sealife amazing, food very good at the appointed restaurant (had the all inclusive water villa package), staff attentive, great housekeeping. Loved my time on the island 🤍

We selected the Bandos Resort for its proximity to the Male Airport and based on facilities for our two children. We were in for a wonderful treat! The whole process of reception is seamless and you can feel the hospitality right from the welcome area! The food options are wonderful - spread ranges from continental cuisine to Indian options dashed with plenty of dessert options! Chef Ajay is a master with his Indian range of cooking - the ever smiling face is only the start to the warmth that he exudes. Tanuj and Rakesh are wonderful hosts and conversationalists. They know exactly what you want and need right from your smallest preferences (type of drinks, food, accessories - plastic cups for children). The location is fabulous - on one side you have the beautiful beachfront with several options to hang out. Kids will love the hammock and the swings. Noteworthy is the hammock in the ocean (do not miss it) and the futuristic cocoon swing. There is also a kids area within the clubhouse and the three hostess there will love your children to bits! They also offer arts sessions to keep the kids busy which is a good time for the parents to have some alone time. The Sea Breeze Restaurant and Hunan Restaurant offer some amazing sites into the ocean. You can also catch glimpses of shoals of fishes being pursued by larger fish in the ocean. They also offer snorkeling classes and have a separate dive area at the Bandos Dive Center. The resort also has a wonderful swimming pool with sections marked for the adults with an attached bar counter. There is also a kids pool for the younger feet to dabble in pure clean water! For all the cleanliness enthusiasts - this place is amazingly well maintained! Hats off to the maintenance staff! We would recommend the all-inclusive option. Also my personal recommendation is to have the Scottish Piper scotch whiskey they have on offer. It is a blended scotch whiskey but will give all the Glen lovers a run for their money!

Absolutely fantastic holiday we stayed for 13 nights, amazing snorkelling, loads of water sports and fun trip out on the jet skis with Pulout. Incredible choice of food and a good choice of drinks from casual beach snack to fine dining. Staff were fabulous nothing was too much trouble . Magnificent breakfast with so many different options and incredible fresh pastry choice . Shout out to Ishaq who arranged a floating breakfast for us which will be a memory forever and Maggie who swapped overwater villa which made our holiday . Great beach bar where Suarez, Rohit , Akash , Cindy, Etta, Ausam and all the team thoroughly spoilt us - trying out cocktails champagne and chilled out sunsets with delicious food . Staff at the restaurants remembered what we liked and treated us like royalty always smiling and checking that everything was ok , thanks to Sachin and Allam who went above and beyond .

Thought of everything facilities wise in the rooms. Great location very near to the airport. Food great, staff were lovely.

We've spent a week on the island, in the end of December including Christmas. This was a very good time to visit the resort, as there are a number of festive activities including Santa's visit and presents for kids, Christmas dinner and lunch and some other singing and dancing events. Get a beach villa, as it is closer to restaurant and bar area, has its own beach and small terrace and safer for kids. Very important, villas on north-west side of the island are much better - the beach is bigger, wider, has less sharp corals and most importantly - almost no waves and wind. Other sides of the island are much more windy and the beaches are shallow and surrounded by wave splitters. Villas 415-430 are the best places on the island. Resort is quite new (built in 2022), so everything is looking great, staff is making sure that everything is clean and well-maintained, beaches are all nice and sharp corals are being removed from the sand almost daily. Villas are also looking great, cleaned daily, if needed. The AC is very quiet and keeps the villa as cool as you'd like it to without blowing directly to your neck. Wi-Fi is relatively ok, streaming is blocked, but video calling works effortlessly. Restaurant is spacious, so even though the resort was full we always found a place to sit. Choice of meals is pretty big, separate sections for Indian and International cuisine + an Asian corner with dishes from Maldives, Indonesia, China, etc. Choice of desserts is pretty big as well. Bar area is surprisingly nice, with great pool, big set of sun beds (never had to search for a free one) and a small beach. Bar is serving drinks and cocktails, and you can ask for a cocktails even if it's not on the list of free ones. During evenings the bar area is the usual place for events, live music and overall buzz. Shout to an excellent live band, you are amazing :)! Thanks a ton to all the staff of the hotel and yes, cannot recommend OBLU enough, great holiday!

the staff was amazing and super friendly, the villa and the view (sunset view villa) was great! we were very lucky because we had no city (Male) view.
