Incredible Stay at SO/ Maldives – Truly Unforgettable! We stayed for 7 nights in an overwater villa at SO/ Maldives. This was our first trip to the Maldives, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice — the hotel is incredibly stylish, brand new, and absolutely stunning in every detail. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. Everyone was extremely welcoming and attentive to our wishes. We celebrated a birthday during our stay (and it turned out to be the best celebration ever!) — the team went above and beyond to make the day feel magical, with heartfelt congratulations and thoughtful efforts that touched us deeply. We would especially like to thank Maria, who guided us from the moment we arrived until our departure, always helpful and supportive with everything we needed. Also a warm thank you to Luna for her kindness, care, and friendly assistance throughout our stay. We’re also grateful to the teams at the Watersport Zone and The Nest for helping us enjoy our time with fun and vibrant activities. The hotel offers a wide variety of experiences — we particularly enjoyed snorkeling, oceanfront yoga, and the creative workshops, all of which made our days even more special. We highly recommend SO/ Maldives if you value excellent service, beautiful design, and want a truly unforgettable getaway. 🌴✨

the staff was amazing and super friendly, the villa and the view (sunset view villa) was great! we were very lucky because we had no city (Male) view.

The island itself is beautiful and the overwater villas are generous and very stylishly furnished - especially the bathroom and terrace are very special (we were watching little fish and sharks every night from the net thingy). But what truly knocked our socks off was the quality of service. All the staff went out of their way to make our vacation memorable and we felt truly pampered. We were warmly greeted at the airport and upon our departure seen off at the airport entrance. We were even given a complimentary early check-in + breakfast after we’d arrived and late check-out, so basically one more day at our amazing villa! Ahmed and other staff members were constantly checking that we had everything we needed and were always so friendly and welcoming. As we are a vegetarian & vegan couple, the chefs at all the restaurants made sure to check in with us prior to every meal and prepared some of the best meals we’d ever had! It was unbelievable, plus the places looked stunning. The spa experience and massage with Ros was a cherry on top. Also used the gym and the tennis court regularly - the staff there made sure we had fresh towels and water at all times. We also had to visit the clinic and were assisted by the doctor - all part of the resort service. Just cannot recommend this place enough!

I had dinner every evening there, and even though I have gluten intolerance, everyone was attentive and did their best to accommodate me, especially the kitchen's manager. He listened to my requests and did his absolute best! If i could, I would stay there again! His food was amazingly delicious! Thank you for making my time there relaxing and effortless!

We selected the Bandos Resort for its proximity to the Male Airport and based on facilities for our two children. We were in for a wonderful treat! The whole process of reception is seamless and you can feel the hospitality right from the welcome area! The food options are wonderful - spread ranges from continental cuisine to Indian options dashed with plenty of dessert options! Chef Ajay is a master with his Indian range of cooking - the ever smiling face is only the start to the warmth that he exudes. Tanuj and Rakesh are wonderful hosts and conversationalists. They know exactly what you want and need right from your smallest preferences (type of drinks, food, accessories - plastic cups for children). The location is fabulous - on one side you have the beautiful beachfront with several options to hang out. Kids will love the hammock and the swings. Noteworthy is the hammock in the ocean (do not miss it) and the futuristic cocoon swing. There is also a kids area within the clubhouse and the three hostess there will love your children to bits! They also offer arts sessions to keep the kids busy which is a good time for the parents to have some alone time. The Sea Breeze Restaurant and Hunan Restaurant offer some amazing sites into the ocean. You can also catch glimpses of shoals of fishes being pursued by larger fish in the ocean. They also offer snorkeling classes and have a separate dive area at the Bandos Dive Center. The resort also has a wonderful swimming pool with sections marked for the adults with an attached bar counter. There is also a kids pool for the younger feet to dabble in pure clean water! For all the cleanliness enthusiasts - this place is amazingly well maintained! Hats off to the maintenance staff! We would recommend the all-inclusive option. Also my personal recommendation is to have the Scottish Piper scotch whiskey they have on offer. It is a blended scotch whiskey but will give all the Glen lovers a run for their money!

I don’t think the pictures on the site do it justice - absolutely stunning location, lovely people who couldn’t do enough for you and comfortable living. Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

The host is AMAZING! I would recommend the place just for how kind is him, plus the apartment is very nice and clean! Book it!
