The cottage is absolutely gorgeous and in such a beautiful setting! We felt so comfortable and relaxed there - we were two families and kids ages 7, 10 and 12. There was plenty of beds and bedding - all of our beds and pillows were very comfortable! Unlike many other cottages we've visited in Latvia, you can drink the water from the tap here and it tasted incredible (from an underground water source - it tasted so pure). The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming as well - communication was quick and easy, checking in was a breeze. We also booked the wood-fired hot tub and had a wonderful evening enjoying the tub! The cottage is a short drive from Cesis as well, so we were able to do some things in town during the day and then be fully immersed in the countryside for the rest of the time. We highly recommend this place - 10/10 for sure.

We loved everything about the property. Location is spectacular, house is super cozy and well equipped, hosts are super responsive and attentive. It was very calm, relaxing holidays, we had a feeling like we are somewhere far away in Finland behind arctic circle- winter farytale. Electric hot tube is a nice touch because you don't need to control heating yourself.

The Greenland House offered a very pleasant stay at a good location. The house was spotless, the sleep quality was excellent, and the mattresses felt like sleeping at home. Couldn't have chosen a better place for a weekend retreat. Everything about the Greenland House was exceptionally high quality and greatly exceeded my expectations. Thanks very much to hostes. My partner and I booked this for my parents as a surprise for their first visit to Latvia, and it was exceptional. We drove them the short distance from Cēsis and it was very easy to find with the maps, and even in the rain, it was a stunning place. We were very jealous when we left them for the night. The house had everything they'd need from hot drinks in the cupboard to extra blankets for enjoying the night time on the balcony, from sauna hats in the drawer to a speaker in the living area. My dad was particularly enjoying nature spotting during the time and was very excited to tell us of the Storks, Deer and Rabbits he'd seen during his stay. It was easily one of the nicest stays that I've seen to date, and I would love to personally come back.
