Everything about this stay was exeptional from the comfort of the room to the quality of the breakfast and the cleanliness was brilliant. This was topped off by having the perfect host/owner. If you are visiting tangalle this place is a MUST to stay. I CANNOT reccoment enough. We would stay here again in a breath

We enjoyed everything. The property, staff, food and service were all exceptional. We were looked after incredibly well by Ishan and his team. A highlight was an impromptu pool-side cooking class run by Kayaam’s chef, Namal. We can’t wait to come back - a bucket list place to stay.

Very lovely staff is a great addition to delicious food they make in affordable prices, views of wild animals, well-kept garden area, point of birds observation in their natural habitat and nice chamber swimming pool. Close to Rekawa beach and turtle reserve. Birds are fed by the owners, rooms are clean. Our favourite stay in Sri Lanka!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay here! The family is incredibly kind and welcoming — from the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: shampoo, soap, drinking water, and more. It was also spacious, with strong Wi-Fi and a beautiful view over the lake — simply perfect. The quality of this guesthouse is truly unbelievable for the price. After traveling around Sri Lanka for a month, this was by far the best value we experienced. If you’re looking for comfort, warmth, and unbeatable hospitality, this is the place.

We want to say big thank to the owner and all the stuff in the villa, especialy Lahiru, which care about us and ours needs here. The villa is a little bit out off bigger village, but close to the several beaches. There are few restaurants in walking distance also. Accomodation is exactly as in pictures. Nice, comfortable and good equiped for 2 people. Villa offer one bedroom with comfortable bed, A/C and fan is here. Nice bathroom have everything ( hair dryer, shampoon, conditioner and all other stuff). Outdoor kitchen is connected with outdoor seating area with a view on pool. Breakfast were excellent ( european or sri lankan every with fresh fruit and Hubice, coffee or tea ). You can order lunch or dinner, some refreshment here also. We spent here quality time. Entire villa is private with Lahiru or some other stuff here.

The White Villa is very well located in Tangale as a base to explore things around: temples, many beaches and the surroundings are very calm and beautiful. You have a separated villa for yourself since there are only 2 rooms available and they don't rent them at the same time. Our hosts were amazing in making us feel at home, the breakfast (and dinner) was very good. They gave us great tips to explore things around (like temples during full moon day) and we also rented a scooter with them. Our stay and 2 days with them was definitely one of the highlights of our 2 weeks here, thank you so much 😄

It's a really nice place, very clean, so close to the beach where you can swim that area with many beach restaurants and the supperb hospitality from Mr. Udesh, the owner who live in his house next in the same property which you're looking much safe in your travels. This hotel was a complete shock - in a good way. Photos don't do it justice. An amazing retreat with only 5 rooms in a building that is a modern masterpiece. As soon as we entered we felt relaxed. The staff were superb, especially Suresh, and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They even provided an amazing Sri Lankan breakfast when requested - never having eggs and bacon again after that treat!
