Everything about this stay was exeptional from the comfort of the room to the quality of the breakfast and the cleanliness was brilliant. This was topped off by having the perfect host/owner. We liked absolutely everything. Most of all the peace and quiet. The hotel never played any music of their own making the only things you hear the sounds of the ocean and the abundant wildlife. Even our fellow lodgers spoke in semi hushed tones. A perfect remote beach holiday. Clean pool, extremely helpful staff. A safe spot for swimming sheltered by the breakers is only short stroll away. Excellent food. Wonderful views both from the pool and from the rooms. Perfect wifi and water pressure.

I have been to many places and cities in Sri Lanka. and I can confidently say that this is one of the best hotels. here you feel at home. when you swim in the pool, beautiful peacocks walk around. then you can feed them. real unity with nature. Delicious homemade breakfast is served here. There is a beach nearby, I liked to walk there on foot. you can also go to the city by tuk tuk if you need to go to the store. it's a great place and great people. I want to go back there again! ❤️

We absolutely loved everything about our stay here! The family is incredibly kind and welcoming — from the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home. Our room was spotless and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed: shampoo, soap, drinking water, and more. It was also spacious, with strong Wi-Fi and a beautiful view over the lake — simply perfect. The quality of this guesthouse is truly unbelievable for the price. White Villa offers super good, very very clean and modern accomodation and amazing food in the most beautifull part of south Sri Lanka. Upul and his family is wonderfull. This place is far beyond what you can imagine as Sri Lankan hospitality. They are kind, polite and funny. Upul also helped us to go on small trips around Tangalle. We are travelling with our 6months old daughter and it is always a good felling to know we are at a clean and safe place. And White Villa is, very much! They also make dinner at a very reasonable price and it is good, tasty and traditional as the breakfast which was included and was a good start in the morning. They recomended hidden beaches which were the most beautifull among the beaches we visited in Sri Lanka, the ultimate beach experience we could feel here at the Silent Beach. When we arrived we decided to extend our stay and that was an excellent idea!!!

We had a great stay. The host was very kind and helpful, he arranged a motorbike for us and gave us a shuttle to the bus station. The room was clean and the beaches there were beautiful. The breakfast was very good and a lot. We definitely recommend to stay here!

Pros : Amazing host.. Mr. Ranjith's hospitality is top notch.. so affectionate & carrying host. On the day of arrival he greeted us with sweet tender coconut. The next morning he warmed us with his homemade coconut pancake. The day we departed he treated us with ragi malt with dry fruits. Each day he greeted us with special dishes. He also arranged a scooty for us at an affordable price. He did all the facilities for us. The room was clean and comfortable. The toilet is big & spacious. Good room with an affordable price. Must recommend in Tangalle, away from the busy city. At the walkable distance one can reach a private turtle beach. Luckily we saw a big turtle on shore.. as a couple we enjoyed the stay..
