My family and I, a group of seven from Canada, recently had the pleasure of staying at Houseboats by DAE in Bolgoda, and it was an experience we won't soon forget. The houseboat we stayed on offered the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The rooms were not only spacious but also beautifully designed, making our stay incredibly relaxing. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the food. Every meal was a culinary delight, with dishes that catered perfectly to our taste buds. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality and flavor of the food consistently impressed us. During our stay, we enjoyed two cruises each day through the picturesque Bolgoda waterways. The early morning cruise was particularly breathtaking as we were greeted by the serene beauty of nature waking up. We spotted numerous birds and even got a glimpse of the stunning sunrise. The sunset cruise, on the other hand, provided a different yet equally mesmerizing experience as we sailed through the calm waters with the sky painted in shades of orange and pink. The entire experience was beyond our expectations, and if given the chance, we would gladly stay here 100 times over. Houseboats by DAE in Bolgoda is a gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable stay

This was the first stop in our Sri Lankan trip and We weren’t quite ready to brave the hustle bustle of Colombo, Athma house was perfect for that. A small escape where you could admire the city lights over the lake while nestled behind a jungle shield. However central enough for you get out there if you want to. The owner of the property was our highlight. A fabulous well traveled woman with a warm welcoming energy. Her mission to make us feel at home. The interior was a feast for the eyes. Authentic and eccentric. The property was originally built as her home and it still feels that way, lived in and full of soul. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. We stayed for one night and would recommend a minimum of two nights.

Close to both Sinhalese Sports Club and The Independence Square, Urban Bliss Studio is situated in Colombo and has a hot tub and garden.

Suzette and Rajive couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. They live on site and it was like being welcomed into their home. Breakfast was amazing. Beautifully cooked Sri Lankan food and enough to keep us going all day. Quiet location in a nice part of the city and easy tuk tuk ride to anywhere.
