wonderful experience in sri lanka, the hotel was great, I am very grateful to Hashan and his brother and team for their hospitality, delicious food, pleasant stay. Hashan, a very good man, offered to rent a scooter and a car for a very good price, arranged for a driver to take me to the airport. I recommend staying at this hotel, I will visit in the future.

Best accomodation we had in Sri Lanka. Clean, spacious and safe rooms with a lot of privacy, mosquito nets, AC and a big balkony. Great service and breakfast. The pool is also perfectly clean and big enough to swim. You can easily walk to Ahangama, park a tuktuk and enjoy the ocean. The secret beach is about 700m away, which is amazing for swimming and relaxing. A lot of amazing restaurants and shops are in the area. A lot of peacocks live in the area and they might say hello to you on your balkony. We also saw a group of monkeys in the morning.

The high-speed internet access was a godsend, ensuring I could stay connected and manage my work with ease. The kitchen facilities were well-equipped, allowing me the freedom to prepare my meals just the way I like. An added convenience was the laundry facility, which was particularly useful during my extended stay. One of the highlights was the property’s proximity to the lake, offering stunning views and a sense of tranquility that is hard to find. What made our stay truly special, however, was the lovely couple who own the place. Their warm hospitality and friendly demeanor added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. Their local tips and knowledge were invaluable in making the most of our stay. Beautiful hotel with wonderful pool and private beach. Staff was attentive and management checked in with us frequently. Sadly I had to leave sooner than expected with a sick toddler (needed to fly home earlier for her doctor). But everything was lovely for our one night and I would have happily stayed longer.

the stay at this villa was truly amazing! the house is very spacious and beautiful, perfect for a family of 6-7 people: 3 separate bedrooms, living room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms (one is on fresh air with small swimming pool, very nice). Malinda and his colleague are very friendly and welcoming, they kept the house clean, provided us with fresh towels and cooked delicious breakfast every morning! also Malinda helped us get around Ahangama and Galle with his tuk tuk, organized our transfer from and to the airport and even organized 2-days tour to explore Sri Lanka (Ella, tea plantations, waterfalls, temples) for a very good price. he was always available and answered all our questions very quickly. the house is in excellent condition, good bathroom and kitchen facilities. huge garden with chill zone in the backyard, the house and backyard are surrounded by the fence and there are security cameras at the entrance, feels very safe. the location is very close to surf points, beaches and restaurants: Sticks surf point and RDS surf school is 10 minutes walk, Kabalana beach is 10 minutes walk, everything is within easy reach by foot or short tuk tuk drive. highly recommended for large groups of friends and families.

Our stay was really nice and comfortable at Ivy Cottage. The location is perfect, walking distance from Kabalana beach and on a nice road. There's space to park if you need to onsite. The room is spacious and really clean, lots of lighting options and great big bathroom with bathtub and hot shower. The wifi is good too. We slept really comfortably every night and generally had a super comfy stay. The kind guys working there are available for communication pretty much 24/7 & they are keen to make the stay comfortable! Laundry was easy to sort and also a room refresh. Breakfast is really delicious & they are flexible to meet your needs & timings. Highly reccomend!
