Our stay at Gyedong Hanok 125 was truly exceptional. The spacious dining table easily fit our whole family, making meals and conversations a joy. The location is unbeatable—right on lively Gyedong-gil, with bakeries, cafés, gift shops, and restaurants just steps away. This Hanok House is situated in the heart of Bukchon, where you find a variety of restaurants, cafes, shops, galleries,… This area is full of life and people from all over the world. This house has two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom which is great when you travel as a family. During the day it’s quite vivid outside due to all the tourists who want to make pictures in front of the house. They envy us whenever we get out or inside the house. But after 8pm it gets very quiet so you can enjoy the silence outside at your own patio with a glass of wine. The host was very friendly and was happy to assist us whenever we needed help.
