The stay was exceptional. Our host, Yousuke, was incredibly accommodating, and provided an unparalleled experience that is only possible from a true local. The house is located about 15 minutes outside of Hakuba so it is close to attractions while maintaining an authentic style that is lacking in the highly trafficked tourist areas. The house is very traditional and will likely be most appreciated by those interested in a rustic lifestyle such as our group. The aesthetic and location, as well as Yousuke himself, really checked all of the boxes on our list.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There was a lot of services and things to do at the hotel. The hotel was a little bit far away, but there was bus and taxi available to train station.

Beautiful place in a quaint little village. Perfect place outside the usual tourist areas with good access to the highway to reach other places in the area. Excellent host who genuinely listens and gets back to you with ideas. The house has been beautifully restored with great design elements and furnishings. I loved it all. Delicious food prepared by the family. They even created a specific vegan menu for us! Couldn't recommend it more.

Amazing villa beautifully presented and with wonderful facilities including its own private Onsen. The house was wonderful helping us with booking a restaurant for a private dinner which was amazing as well. Cannot recommend this property highly enough.
