The breakfast service was a highlight of our stay! The beautiful decor, authentic experience with the irori bbq made in front of you was incredible. Everything was delicious, with strong attention to detail giving you a humble luxury that feels typically Japanese. The room was simply gorgeous and the bed incredibly comfortable. Property is nice and new. The bath tub is perfect after a long day of walking. They even provided a little bathroom hygiene kits and towels. Location is pretty good, a block from a grocery store. It's not that close to train station but it didn't matter to us. In the evening after the sun goes down it's a nice walk to Gion and shopping district for dinner.
