Lovely little hotel type place. The two elderly who run it were both really friendly and helpful for any questions I had. Room was a really good size for the price and the communial area had lots to offer - massage chair, manga, tv, heating etc. And it's pet friendly!

Staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities lovely. Beautiful views across the valley and mountains. We stayed here between visits to Takayama and Tokyo and it was a breather between those locations. A great place to unwind. Loved the hot spa bath with a view.

The place is outstanding. A gem in the mountains, that transport you into another planet. The attention to detail, comfort and style is really exceptional. We got dinner and breakfast with them and it was great too! We also got a massage, and it was amazing.
