The staff waited for us to arrive and assist us with check-in even though we forgot to update them on our arrival timing. The room itself was really nice and comfortable, facilities and heating was really good. Staff was very friendly and the interior design of the room was very traditionally Japanese.

This house is a very modern detached house. It is very clean and tidy, and all the furniture and appliances are very practical. The landlord is very warm and polite. There is a convenience store nearby, and it is not far from the JR station. The surrounding area is where mostly elderly people and children live, so it is very quiet. This house is also very close to the Arashiyama scenic spot in Sagano, which is very convenient.

The breakfast service was a highlight of our stay! The beautiful decor, authentic experience with the irori bbq made in front of you was incredible. Everything was delicious, with strong attention to detail giving you a humble luxury that feels typically Japanese. The room was simply gorgeous and the bed incredibly comfortable.
