I loved staying at the Encanto, it is in a calm and peaceful environment, with a lovely view at the sea and the city. But still close to the main attractions and the city, only 30 mins drive to Trieste, 1.5 hours to Treviso, 2 hours to Venice. The porch has an amazing view, and we really enjoyed having a coffee with birds chirping in the background. The hosts were amazing, very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. All the facilities at the property are great, beds very comfy, the porch is amazing.

It’s hard to know where to start in describing this beautiful hotel. Its position is amazing with views over the sea out towards Slovenia and Croatia. The elegance and sophistication of the property were outstanding and it was so clean and well kept. Our room, an upgrade with double balcony, was superb. No:403. Stefano was charming and very helpful as was Tommy in the breakfast area who couldn’t do enough to help. Parking was good as were directions to the hotel. We stayed in January for two nights and loved it as we did Trieste. A fabulous, beautiful hotel.

Everything was so good. This was my first time to visit Italy. My budget was £20/25 per night stay for 2/3 star hotels so that I could stay longer time/at least 3 weeks and enjoy the beautiful weather and sunny day. I did not know that a single/double room is very expensive near Monfalcone centre. However, Hotel Excelsior’s rooms are very reasonable or cheap compare to the other rooms of the hotels near Monfalcone centre. So, overall I was happy with everything at this hotel
