Welcomed in as family from the moment Giovanni warmly greeted us, and Simone’s lovely smile at the bar as he rustled up cocktails. Especially grateful tor the quiet season upgrade into the top suite. Highlights were breakfasts outside in the beautiful gardens by the pool looked after my Emanuella, relaxed dinners over red wine in the bar lounge and an impromptu concert with Giovanni singing and playing guitar. Grazie a tutti!

The hotel exceeded my expectations, having read previous negative reviews regarding breakfast, and bedroom comfort. Our rooms were garden rooms with a terrace. Large and comfortable, good air conditioning and large beautiful bathroom. Powerful shower, comfortable bed with extra pillows in the wardrobe if needed. Lovely view of the gardens. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The pool area is super, lifeguard attentive and helped all guests to ensure their beds were in a position of comfort and it was kept very tidy and clean. We found staff, extremely helpful and courteous with lots of local advice on getting around without a car. We took the train (station two minutes from hotel) to Cala Sabina beach, Golfo Aranci town and Olbia. Then travelled on the local bus to Porto Rotundo several times. The main Marinella beach is a 5 minute walk away and was beautiful, with free sun beds and umbrellas for guests. We really enjoyed breakfast, (despite previous negative reviews, therefore I was expecting very little choice) but this was not the case. Always lots of hot options, cheeses, hams, fruit cereal, pastries, breads. It was topped up regularly and it didn’t matter what time you had breakfast the choices were good. The dinner buffet was quite good value for money, but not as high quality as breakfast so we only ate once at the hotel, but instead walked to the small marina where there are several really good local food restaurants.

The staff were fantastic, especially Tiziana and the gentleman from Sri Lanka (apologies we didn’t catch your name) went above and beyond. The location is fantastic also. All the staff we encountered were so friendly and polite. They even facilitated the organisation of our bike rentals to explore the area. The pool area was lovely and maintained to a very high standard. The room was exceptionally clean and had very good AC.

Awesome property & surroundings with the mountains as a backdrop. Great pool area & beautifully landscaped gardens to relax within . Fully supplied bar to access while around pool area .This is a great touch. Rooms have every thing you need for a comfortable stay . We cooked a bit with the local produce . Short walk into town to nice restaurants We had a great stay there for a week using it as a base to explore the northern part of the island . Gladys was an excellent host !

Gladys and Maurizio have created a Napa Valley quality hotel in San Pantaleo. The pictures don’t do this place justice! Great location as it is walking distance to town and short drives to local beaches and the port of Palau to take boat rides. The apartments are well stocked with anything you might need. The grounds are immaculately maintained with a pool, sauna, hot tub, lap pool, gym, and self-service bar. Gladys and Maurizio are so welcoming and made our visit a joy. I highly recommend this place!
