Stunning location and a charming, quirky and characterful place to stay. Extremely friendly and welcoming and a huge bedroom with views over the hills. Breakfast was excellent and the highlight was the pool and gardens. Located in a peaceful spot, the pool was a wonderful temperature with gorgeous views over the hillside.

We had an amazing time in Montalbera; we spent 5 nights there and it’s the perfect location to visit Monferrato. Montalbera has a magnificent view of Montemagno and the surrounding hills and vineyards, which are stunning (you can also walk through the estate thanks to 4 different routes)! We definitely recommend a visit to their wine cellar and a wine tasting. We found that the experts working there were very prepared and knowledgeable (and just really nice and friendly in general), and their wines are produced with care, attention to the territory and innovation (the Ruchè Riserva was our clear favorite). If you stay, we also recommend a bike tour (you can rent e-bikes in Montalbera), which is the best way to see and enjoy the Monferrato’s hills which are stunning and all a bit diverse! Last, but not least, the staff at the check-in will provide your with a useful list of restaurants. Ciao and grazie Montalbera, we hope we’ll come back soon!

We absolutely loved our stay! The location is excellent, and the apartment was clean, comfortable, and felt wonderfully homey. It’s decorated with great care and creativity, making it a truly special place. Everything you might need for a comfortable stay is provided. Travelling to many parts of the world for the last 30 years has seen and witnessed very beautiful places and the Glass House & SPA in Terruggia, Italy, will be remembered as one of our most favourite of all. The service, cleanliness, luxurious appointments, interior and exterior ambience and calmness was most impressionable.
