The place was clean, tidy, and beautifully decorated, with great features such as the jacuzzi. It was very spacious, and the location just outside the city centre ensured quiet and restful nights. The host was extremely nice and helpful, providing clear instructions and doing her best to make our trip as smooth as possible. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

We were met at the train after a long trip from Australia, Breakfast was all we could ask for. Veronica was a great host - restaurant bookings. Sunset boat cruises, transfers to the train etc etc. Nothin was too much trouble. A relaxing spa, steam room ,sauna. - more than we expected and made our stay.

Best apartment we've ever booked on Booking to date. Modern spec, comfy bed, large shower room, fast wi-fi, well-equipped kitchen, food, wine and beer left for us on arrival to enjoy, easy to contact hosts to ask for help or questions and they are so kind and lovely. They gave us a tour of the property when we arrived. The property is located at the top of Riomaggiore but don't let this put you off! If you don't want to walk up the steep hill through town, there is a lift just to the right as you come out the train station that takes you halfway up the hill - then do a short walk along the road to the main church and just next to the left side of this is the entrance to another lift which takes you up to the road the apartment is on = no sweating! There are some steps up to the property though. They own the 3 flats located here but this top flat (the one with the biggest terrace at the top of the steps) was worth the extra money just for the INCREDIBLE VIEWS from the terrace. By far our favourite property so far. We also much preferred this property up high in a quiet location than having a property located in the marina - Riomaggiore is famous from the movie 'Luca' and tiktok trends so it is now heaving with tourists in the day, especially at sunset which means the marina is crammed and noisy of people coming back from sunset boat trips which isn't relaxing (don't worry, a lot of them disappear after sunset as staying in other towns so it's more chilled to go out for drinks after). But that's the best thing about where this flat is located because there are no shops or trekking routes on this road means it's super quiet! So the best thing we did whilst there was get takeaway pasta and cheeses and meats from the shops below to sit and eat in peace and quiet on our terrace to watch the BEAUTIFUL sunset with our free wine.

+ excellent location in the old housing development in the heart of Riomaggiore and yet not directly in the main street (you can actually feel and hear the town's noise when the windows are open but you can suppress it completely when the windows are closed if you wish for the night for example) + magnificent views + reasonable price (value for money) + air-condition (although we did not need it that often but it can come in handy from time to time) + equipped kitchenette (including fridge) with some basic ingredients such as coffee, tea and olive oil

The location is perfect The bed was very comfortable- I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment and we can’t wait to return!

Serena was a fantastic host. She put her heart and soul into it and was very well organised. The small hotel has been designed both inside and outside with many details and individual designs to make it a great place. Everything worked perfectly, the breakfast is fresh and varied. We also tried the 6-course menu & can recommend this without hesitation. The view over the city is magnificent, both from the terrace and from the Jacuzzi. Thank you very much for these very relaxing & delicious days!

A beautiful setting with lovely hosts and excellent facilities. Our room had an outdoor space which was perfect for relaxing in the evening and had amazing views, particularly at sunset. We used the jacuzzi during down time and the breakfasts were delicious. To top it off, the rooms were cleaned daily and our fridges were topped up free of charge. We miss it already!
