The host was easy to communicate once I made the booking. I landed at 1am and the keys were in safe lockers. So yes late check in possible . The owner was happy to give me an extended hour to check out. The entrance to the building is from the back. The rooms , bathrooms, living area , balcony were all super clean and huge. Lovely place, but I stayed there just for 10hrs for my sleep. Because you don’t interact with anybody, carry some change, 2 euro per person as city tax which you need to leave on the desk. It wasn’t explicit, so you need to . Landing after midnight at Bari can be tricky. We waited over 45mins for a taxi , who charged me €20. It is 20-25min walk and flat surface. I did not want to walk with my two young kids, so took a taxi. Next morning , I walked back and it was a brisk 15mins walk back to rental car agency. None of the rental car agency operate 24x7 and they don’t support late pickup post midnight. So this apartment is perfect.

The location was quiet as we visited Bari before the summer season, but I am sure it is busy in the summer. The place is close to the centre of Bari, where we could get quickly and easily by public transport, which runs very frequently, even on weekends. The owners Mina and Giorgio were very helpful in finding our way around. We visited nearby Polignano a Mare and also Monopoli. As well as the old and new parts of Bari. Public transport is really easy and cheap. We really recommend it. Thanks again to the owners who are very nice and friendly for a wonderful weekend.

++location right next to the marina with cute bars and restaurants++ease of access into the room without pressure for check-in time++didn't meet the host but talked over WhatsApp and everything was explained to us in detail and she was very friendly and helpful++room was comfortable and everything was modern and clean++there was a nice roof terrace, which we did not have time to use but would surely have used if we stayed longer than one night++bathroom modern and clean++water in the fridge which is nice when you arrive and did not have time to go to a shop/bar etc. yet
