Beautiful grounds and setting. Secure parking and perimeter. Breakfast amazing, using home grown products. Modern entry systems and USB sockets in rooms are useful. Hot showers and relaxed access to both pool and hot tub. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. Property manager/ owner was easily contactable via Whatsapp and provided recommendations for local food and things to do. In conclusion, everything is to like !

It was an unbelievable stay. The castle is on the top of a hill, surrounded by nature. Rooms are immaculate, spa very well organised with a lot of saunas. The restaurant… exquisite food, I had the best lamb ever . Breakfast is above the expectations of a top Italian breakfast and … believe me .. I am Italian very picky on food. The bombolone and the caprese cake were unforgettable. Last but not least : location is few minutes from the CH boarder and you can bypass Choassi which is normally very busy , so it is a perfect base to visit the Como Lake and to return to North Europe .

This is a one time life experience. They started the business a couple of months ago in a medieval Italian villa which I can admit seemed to me more like a castle than a villa. Ceilings 5 meters high, huge rooms /so far they have got only 3/ decorated like for royalties and bathrooms in pink and green marble with the size of a proper hotel room in Paris. The view, wow, it's breathtaking - a park which belongs to the villa and they just call it "the garden" and the lake of Varese and the snow caps of some Alps peaks in the background. Believe me it's once in a lifetime view. We went there by car /you have a private parking lot just for you/ which we rented from the airport and I strongly recommend everyone should do the same. I guess it's mandatory for that location but on the other hand both lakes Maggiore and Como are very easy to access and that one in Logano as well. It takes approximately 30-40 mins by car to all of them. The host Rita is an amazing young lady ready to help and respond to all of your demands. She recommended us some really nice places to visit and wonderful restaurants in the area. The town of Varese is a 6 min drive away with it's amazing restaurants and historical center.. Overall if you want to know how royalties have lived before and I guess live nowadays and you want to treat yourself like VIP, thats the right place to go. We're definitely going back very soon.
