Villa Belvedere is located halfway up a mountain overlooking a valley. From the back patio one has a beautiful view of the mountains in the distance. It's a great place to drink a glass of wine and appreciated the scenery Tuscany has to offer. The pool is surprisingly big. The deck is a great place for morning yoga, and the pool is a great place to cool off. My room was on the bottom floor and itself was very cool. I stayed in early July and didn't even need a fan. The staff were very friendly, and despite my speaking no Italian, and they're speaking very little English, we got on just fine. She even got me soya milk for my morning cappuccinos!

This place is paradise. It is the most beautiful and perfect holiday base for this part of Italy. Really easy to get to from Pisa airport, could do with a hire car as is quite isolated but easy enough to find with phone sat nav and places to park. It is like a slice of heaven. Travelled as 6 girlfriends for a birthday celebration. The property is large and well maintained. The views are spectacular. We felt like we were in a dream. Endless amenities, two kitchens, lots of bathrooms. The pool overlooking the Tuscan hills is divine. Little things like a fridge near the pool to keep drinks cool, top quality linen for the beds. Fantastic host who couldn't do enough for us and solved little issues very easily. I don't want to say too much as this is a hidden secret and want to keep it for myself... can't recommend enough

I was with my youngest son, 2 weeks' holiday at Fillipe's house. Fillipe is a friendly shy man, you can always message or call him if you need anything. He has a nice house, it has a kitchen with dining area. 2 living rooms, 2 bedrooms and a nice bathroom. With google maps you can easily find the house. Places like Lucca, Pisa Florence is easily accessible. If you want to go to the beach, go to Marina de Pisa and park the car near Grand hotel Golf Tirrenia. Groceries: Conad, Penny, Carefour (Lucca), Eurospin. Restaurants: Flamingo (next door), Bella e Pronta, Zi Meo, Kisoro Sushi, Cliff restaurant. So plenty of everything around. If you're going to stay there.... happy holidays! The photos are of the area ( 😊)

It was one ofthe nicest stays I've ever been to. Manola was welcoming and extremely helpful, she helped us come up with activities for our toddler and recommended places to eat. The building and the rooms are beautiful, the garden amd the views stunning. Definitely recommended. If we're ever going back to thee region, we're coming back to stay here. Local, homemade breakfast was a cherry on top.

The location is amazing with incredible views. Marco & Elisa are incredible hosts who went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful stay in a property that they are rightly very proud of. We were a family of 4 with 2 small dogs and all of us were made to feel very welcome. They were on site every morning to care for the garden, clean the pool, etc and took care to make sure that they were available for any question or suggestion for local amenities we might have without being overbearing. To be able to visit Pisa, Florence, Maranello, Modena, etc from such a stunning central location was superb, although we didn't always want to leave the apartment and its serene location. Just a 5 minute drive across the valley is a medieval village with another set of stunning views and towns within a 10 minute drive for restaurants and supermarkets. A 30 minute drive takes you to Spider Park, a tree climbing experience which me and my daughters loved, my wife and dogs enjoyed the forrest walks.

We really enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The building is very old and charming, while the rooms are equipped with everything we needed. We really liked the way the landlord preserved its old charm. I didn't find the furniture old or outdated (as in some of the comments I have read here), on the contrary, it very much kept with the hotel's atmosphere. Breakfast in the small garden was a very nice addition. We felt very welcomed and were able to breathe some of the old air of Tuscany.
