Accommodation was great! Owners were very nice and helpful, rooms were clean and quiet, breakfast was a great start for the day and location was just perfect for day trips. Closest city Selfoss (9 km) were very good for dining, to buy food and other shopping. 👍😊

Beautiful, comfortable house with plenty of space for our group. The beds were very comfortable, the house was warm and bright. The view from the big picture windows was excellent. We also enjoyed seeing the horses across the road and the tractors trundling around. The hot tub was also excellent, the instructions were very clear and it was easy to use. The only thing extra that would help is an estimate of how long the tub takes to fill, the first night we didn't start it filling until after dinner and it took too long to fill so we couldn't use it that night.

- Very friendly, warm and welcoming host with amazing cuddly and playful dogs: it was a lot of fun seeing Nero running in circles with his giant ball and Pluto laying on your foot for a belly rub! - Shower cabin is clean and equipped with all necessities - Cabin is obviously small, but space was well thought, with plenty of shelves to accommodate things needed for our stay: even if it involves some logistical planning, travelling with massive suitcases was not an issue - Cabins themselves and the location were beautiful and peaceful, making this stay the nicest of a 16 days trip!

We had an amazing time! The tiny house is very modern and beautifully decorated! Super comfortable with an amazing view! The private hot tub and the sauna make for an even better experience. Stefan was very kind and helpful for any questions we had. He even went as far as to send us some information about the northern lights activity that night. We had such a wonderful stay at the Old School House. Honestly, part of me wants to gatekeep this place – but of course I won’t. As a half-Icelandic person, this has definitely become one of my new favorite spots to stay in the countryside. We loved the garden, which was open for everyone to use. We actually ended up staying in for both dinner and breakfast, even though we had plans to go out and eat at restaurants. But the garden was just too cozy – we couldn’t resist. We also really enjoyed the hot tub and had an amazing evening watching the sunset. The kitchen and bedrooms were super clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Iceland. Magnea and Greg were so lovely and welcoming. You can really feel that they care and want you to have the best stay possible. 10/10, would recommend!:))

Everything was great! Very well located, right in the town centre, but out of the noisiest road. 5 min walking distance to Food Hall, a venue with several restaurants and a bar. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast - superb 😋 There is a spa which we did not come to try (3000 kr for the guests) and a gym (very tiny). Super comfortable place!
