Where do I even begin? This is Plitvice’s best kept secret! Vanja and husband are 5 star hosts and live in a property next door. They are very responsive and super helpful. The home (it is a home and not just some accomodation) is sparkling clean and cosy. Well equiped with under floor heating and pristine white towels and sheets. There are two rooms on the top level with one large bathroom and another large bedroom downstairs with the other large bathroom. The kitchen thou small packs a big punch and has a microwave, dishwasher, oven, stove and coffee machine. Everything is generously provided for from the washing detergent and paper towels. There was even some welcome treats waiting for us and Vanja is a fantastic baker too! Breakfast is super yummy and personally made by Vanja. She cares about hosting and it shows. The gardens and surrounding areas must be lovely in summer with many fruit trees that Vanja makes good jam with. Not to mention the infrared sauna and hot tub! As we are visiting in January the snow just makes everything extra special and our young children just loved playing outside. We enjoyed our stay here so much we regret that we didn’t stay longer. When there is such good hospitality at one’s doorstep - take it. It honestly feels like coming home to family!

It’s really clean and near the park. The staff was really nice and their food was so good. It had a good price and the portions were great. To go there from the bus station you have to go where the cars are parked and then straight ( just look at google maps)

Awesome place about 3 miles from Plitvice Lakes park. Very clean and everything felt new, excellent value for what I paid. Restaurant and food were really good, I had dinner after visiting the park and breakfast the next morning. Overall the staff was very good, but Sandra at the desk was amazing. She was helping me before I even got to the hotel and made things easy messaging through whatsapp. She helped me get a ride from the park to the hotel and then a ride from the hotel to Split (not so easy last minute it turns out). She went above and beyond with all the questions I had for her.

Villa Irene was the perfect place to conclude our honeymoon. Very close to Plitvice National Park, but still in a quiet area to relax. The room was big and comfortable and the jacuzzi was a plus. The food cooked by Irene was very tasty and made us experience home made food as we were in a Croatian home and the husband Damir was very nice and helpful with advices. We would go back!
