The location and the view from the hotel, even though it was a bit of a steep hike, we appreciated the "workout". The staff were amazing - also drove us from and to the port. The cleaningness was amazing Our room was so pretty! Our door- window was facing the sunset and I could see it from bed. Also the little sofa bed was the perfect spot for my reading when I needed to relax after the beach. One thing to note - it would be lovely to have a few things by the sink, such as a cloth to clean water from the sink and maybe a cutting board. Thank you so much, you made our stay in Ios memorable!!

Clean, friendly, great location

Skala Hotel is an ideal place to stay in Ios and would definitely come back. The staff were really friendly and helpful with everything needed and answered any queries we had regarding exploiting the island. The hotel has one of the best views ever, gazing at Ios Chora, the sea and the windmills ,whether you are at your room, the breakfast area or the pool area. The pool area is really nice, with magnificent view (of the sunset off course) and service for drinks or even something to eat. We were a group of 4 friends and stayed in a quadruple room with felt comfortable and was really clean throughout the stay. The breakfast was tasty and had a variety of options which altered day by day. The hotel is located just on the edge of Ios Chora where all the life of the Island is. Moreover, from Ios Chora you can take buses to the whole island (eg Magganari beach-definitely highly recommended-, Agia Theodoti, Koumpara/Pathos Club, Mylopotas , the Port etc). Really close to the hotel you can also find Odysseas Elytis Amphitheater with breathtaking view of Mylopotas and the new Gaitis-Simossi museum of modern art which is definitely worth visiting. Mylopotas and the port/livadi beach are at walking distance from the hotel (we did it) but perhaps the bus is worth taking on the way back as it is uphill. A transfer service from and to the port was arranged for us (for a minor extra cost- definitely worth it) which I would recommend 100% as taking the bus would mean you will need to walk a bit uphill with luggages which is not ideal and also buses do not run in the early morning or late at night when many ferries arrive/leave. (And the bus is not cheaper either). Would definitely recommend this hotel and I would come back due to all the conveniences described above and the fact that is was really value for money.

Location was amazing, the apartment was modern and clean, jacuzzi was a nice touch, host was attentive and helpful even giving their recommendations for the island, any questions I had they answered instantly. Apartment is a lot bigger than I expected. Although it was in a central location noise was no issue at all.

Amazing place!! Everything in it is perfect Breakfast is great with many options to eat and drink. The place is very well located, right in front of the Mylopotas beach, the best one in Ios in my opinion. The staff is super nice, friendly and supportive. The transfer from the port was arranged by the team, check-in was easy and they give good tips about places to go in Ios. The massage service in the spa is amazing as well as the two pools in the hotel.

We stayed at Ios Bliss for our honeymoon in June 2025 for 14 unforgettable nights. Having travelled extensively over the years, we knew this trip had to be something truly special—after all, you only get one honeymoon (hopefully!). Ios Bliss didn’t just meet our expectations; it far exceeded them. The property is beautifully new, but what really made it exceptional was Stavros and his team. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Their warmth and attention to detail were remarkable. At first, the cynic in me wondered if it was just polished customer service. But as the days melted away in the sun, it became clear: this wasn’t rehearsed—it was real. Stavros genuinely cares about his guests, not because it’s good business, but because that’s simply who he is. I tried to think of something negative to say, to give a balanced review—but honestly, I couldn’t. The rooms are spacious, cool, and beautifully designed with a minimalist style that blends perfectly into the serene surroundings. The private pool was a dream, and the silence—pure tranquility. And the bed... wow. The most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. We’re actually ordering one for home! The location is a 5 minute walk to Mylopotas beach down a winding road. Whether you’re looking for a holiday retreat or planning a honeymoon, our advice is the same: Go to Bliss. Ios has become our home away from home, and now we have our little nest in the sun. Don’t change a thing, Stavros.

The house is well-equipped, you will find all the facilities you need. Wifi is surprizingly good. The interior is nicely designed, clean and well-mainteined. Should you prefer spending a few days in a charming, uninterrupted environment, do not miss this place. Warm welcome both from the owners on arrival and by the gorgeous sunrise every morning. Great restaurant and a nice beach (Psathi) in walking distance. Coming to Ios, we would chose the Anthoula's House again without any further thinking.
