Perfect night away! we had such a gorgeous time, I would 100% come back and recommend it to others, it was pristine, the bed was so comfortable with pillows to die for, the hot tub with the view was absolute bliss, we had the pizza pack & was well worth it the pizza oven was lovley add on Location was ideal, nothing is too far away, The information booklet provided had everything we needed and more in very good detail Even the little details dressing gown, slippers, games, the products in the shower, aircon, list goes on 👌🏼

Private hot tub just outside the room overlooking the field. We overlooked the sunset, then once it got dark and turned the garden lights off, we were enveloped by a starry sky. I saw a shooting star! it was just incredible. Moody room with dimmable lighting throughout was so nice, the best decor I've ever seen in British accommodation. Proximity to the restaurant. We wanted somewhere with a hot tub but not self-catered and not a driving distance to a restaurant. the restaurant was a few seconds walk away from our room. Just perfect! We spent most of our stay in the hot tub and it was so relaxing. The hot tub was ready to go in and was very clean! Optimal temp too. Complemented the cold February air very well.

The hotel was very close to a couple of Roman sites, the remains of a bridge over the Tees and a fortress on Dere street, both of which I had a look at. The village of Piercebridge is also very nice looking. The restaurant in with the bar was good, with a traditional character. I had the beef stew with mash and a dumpling, which was excellent. The breakfast was served in their Riverside restaurant which was nicely decorated. There was plenty on offer, with the option of ordering cooked food as well, which I didn't take. I filled myself up nicely. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was warm and nicely furnished, the wifi worked well.

Situated in Darlington, 3 bed home, pool-hot tub & ev charger offers a patio with pool and garden views, as well as a year-round outdoor pool, hot tub and open-air bath.

I liked the large garden, the hot tub went down a treat. I liked the kitchen and diner with wooden flooring to let the pets roam while it was pouring down outside.

We loved walking the extensive grounds and appreciated the size of our room. Our bathroom alone was the size of some hotel rooms. The port tasting was fun. The highlight was the owl and hawk experience, which was beyond fabulous. The place has a great and very accommodating staff.
