The place was so close to the center, very quiet and perfect for our stay. The owners left some breakfast for us which was nice. Great communication and they checked on us to see if everything was ok. Wonderful stay.

It’s such a lovely spot for a really peaceful getaway. The rooms are nice and spacious, the hot tub’s great, and it doesn’t cost the earth either. There’s loads of parking, and the whole place is just so quiet and relaxing.

The best Shepard’s Hut we’ve ever stayed in! Absolutely loved the fire pit and wood fire hot tub. Complimentary wood offered during your stay. The hut itself was the perfect size, kitchen and bed nook were super cosy. The bathroom was fantastic too! A lovely view of the rolling hills and farmland and although there is a second Shepard Hut on the property, it didn’t feel like there was anyone else around.

Set just 17 km from Askham Hall, The Hide offers accommodation in Penrith with access to a fitness centre, an indoor pool, as well as a lift. This apartment has a private pool and a garden.

The accommodation is a very British home away from home and the hosts have spent a great deal of time and attention providing a stylish, clean and very inviting retreat on the north-eastern edge of the Lakes District. Ian and Elizete were amazing hosts, on hand if you needed anything, but allowed us space and privacy to enjoy our stay.
