The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the village. The room was excellent. The toiletries provided were of high quality and had a pleasant aroma. Just brilliant. Super friendly staff, great in room facilities. Right there at Ambleside town centre. Great views from the room. Perfect place to go and visit for 3-4 days and snooze off from the bustling city life.

Rooms were beautifully and comfortably furnished, with all amenities required for a quiet weekend away. The facilities are impeccably clean, tidy, and well maintained. It was wonderful returning to a warm room at the end of many a cold, rainy, and blustery day. Kate, the general manager, went above and beyond with ensuring we got the keys even after the reception was closed -- we were very grateful to her for that. Location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the waterfront and with excellent food options nearby.

Derek and Eta were so helpful and friendly. We stayed on the top floor with a beach view. The beds were so comfy and we enjoyed the hot tub. Will definitely come back.
