We stayed here for one night as part of our Coast to Coast walk.The room was so spacious with super comfortable bed. Bathroom was also huge with a well sized spa bath. Nice little touches like hot chocolate and biscuits as part of the complimentary tea/coffee in the room. Staff were so friendly. Breakfast buffet was exceptional, with organic and locally sourced ingredients Would have loved to stay an extra night.

This was such a perfect hotel to stay in. The lovely little balcony with a view of the stream. The room was spacious, the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was excellent. It was also very easy to visit nearby towns and access to local walks.

Set in 3 acres of mature gardens, Tweedies Bar and Lodge is a period property with traditional charm.

An old farmhouse which has been sympathetically converted to a hotel whilst retaining alot of the original features. Stunning views across the valley to Sale Fell, which is a lovely circular climb that you can do from the hotel, via St Margarets Church. Amazing views from the top. Good leisure facilities with pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym. In fact the gym has alot more equipment than on the photos. Excellent food, both breakfast and evening using high quality ingredients. VERY friendly and enthusiatic staff,going the extra mile, nothing too much trouble. Sadly wasn't travelling with our dog this time but very dog friendly. Will definitely be staying again, highly recommended and good value.

Everything! This property is in a great location. Our room large offering plenty of space for my morning yoga’s routine. We enjoyed all the facilities the props had to offer and there were plenty of them! Pool, spa x2, steam room and sauna. Breakfast was delicious and great service. All the staff were friendly yet efficient. I would highly recommend staying at Ambleside Salutation if you are visiting the Lakes District. We loved our stay here!

I absolutely love how spacious the apartment was + huge plus for the two bathrooms, one with a bathtub. The swimming pool was very pleasant and the laundry room with dryers was also very helpful.

Situated in Maryport and only 28 km from Buttermere, Eta's Manor @ Brooklands features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Derek and Eta were so helpful and friendly. We stayed on the top floor with a beach view. The beds were so comfy and we enjoyed the hot tub. Will definitely come back.
